It is a snowmobile friendly destination and is one of the most popular snowmobiling destinations in the area. Beautiful scenery and well-maintained trails connecting to the Provincial trail system are a must to ride. All ice crossings are well marked and staked although as with any ice crossings please check with the locals and… if you don’t know don’t go!

Killarney is also a wonderful and popular place to visit in the summer. It is a boating paradise very popular with boating enthusiasts. The Killarney area is so unique with its  crystal clear lakes and waters and majestic white quartzite La Cloche mountains that the Ontario government has designated parts of the Killarney area as a protected area for recreation.
